About Matt
The most important parts in my life are my two children, Hayden (age 9) and Madison (age 5). They are both Unicorns of Dudley Elementary. My “Tooter” (Hayden) is my very best helper, and my “Itty Bitty” (Madison) is her daddy’s “Best Good Friend”.
I am the majority shareholder and President of Boss Oil Field Service, Inc. Our company performs flowbacks and production testing services for high pressure gas wells in various sectors of Texas.
My interests include politics at all levels, sports, veterans’ issues, history, fishing, and hunting. My reverence for the early history of America and Texas, as well as the Founding Documents and Fathers, could not be greater.
My hobbies include studying politics and history, yard work, and coin collecting. I take great pride in my stand of Oak and Citrus tress that occupy the surroundings of my home.
I was raised by my stepfather and mother, spending a great deal of my time working on the family farm near Austwell, TX. As a youth, I participated in team and individual sports, including soccer, baseball, and tennis.
My family moved from Rockport to Victoria in 1990. I attended and graduated as a proud Stingaree from Victoria High School in 1995.
After high school, I gained employment as a warehouse clerk at Victoria Electric Co-op, later transferring to the construction crew as an apprentice lineman.
In 1998, I began my career in the oilfield. After working for and learning from several great companies in Victoria, I ventured out on my own in 2004.
I currently operate Boss and attend The Victoria College online.
